PURPOSE: A display device is provided to efficiently prevent damage to the device due to moisture and oxygen by installing a capping unit in the top side and lateral side of a display unit and a transparent substrate. CONSTITUTION: In a display device, a display unit indicating an image is formed on a transparent substrate. A capping unit covers the transparent substrate and the display unit and includes a capping plate(310) and a first extension unit(320). A sealing member is interposed between the capping unit and the transparent substrate. A protective layer is interposed between the sealing member and the display unit. |
