The device has a reception space (3) for receiving an earphone of a medical auditive apparatus. A heating unit (4) is provided for heating the reception space. An aspiration unit (5) is opened within the reception space. The heating unit heats the reception space at a liquefaction temperature of liquid wax present at the earphone. The aspiration unit sucks the liquid wax, residues and dust, where the heating unit is in the form of a hot air circulation unit within the reception space.
