PURPOSE: An automatic defibrillator and an operating method thereof are provided to change a guide voice or contents of the voice according to the use level of a user. CONSTITUTION: An automatic defibrillator(1) comprises: a bio-signal measurement part which measures a bio-signal of a man; a analysis and processing part which analyzes the measured bio-signal using an analysis program and performs defibrillation according to the result; a communication part transmitting defibrillation information including a bio-signal; a voice guide part guiding treatment steps about a patient to a user by a voice; an execution evaluation part; and a guide voice change part.
