The lock has a lamellar switching element (1) whose two sides (6, 8) are rotationally connected with a housing (7) of a drive and directly connected to a drive output (9) or by an intermediate shaft and a gear stage, respectively. The output is connected with an axle of a motor vehicle. A manually operated threaded rod (10) is operatively connected with a piston (4) of the element. The element is guided by the housing of the drive. A rotation in a direction of the drive results into an axial displacement of the piston in an opening direction of the element such that the lock is unlocked.
