<p>Disclosed is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor electrode material that comprises at least one sintered body of aluminum and an aluminum alloy and does not require etching, wherein a high electrostatic capacity is maintained even in cases in which the particle size of a powder of the aluminum and aluminum alloy is small and the sintered body is thick. Also disclosed is a production method therefor. Specifically, the aluminum electrolytic capacitor electrode material, which comprises the sintered body of at least one powder of aluminum and an aluminum alloy, is characterized in that (1) the aforementioned powder has an average particle size (D50) of 1 to 10 µm, and (2) the aforementioned sintered body comprises at least two sintered layers, with the aforementioned powder included in the adjacent sintered layers having average particle sizes (D50) that differ by at least 0.5 µm.</p> |
