Provided are a method and a device for producing a relief patterned body, said method and device being suitable for producing, with fewer flaws and a high level of quality as well as good productivity, a film-like material, such as an embossed film, having a fine relief pattern formed on a surface thereof so as to have a particular optical effect. On a first substrate (21) having a relief structure pattern in a predetermined location, on the surface side thereof having said relief structure pattern, a transfer pattern is printed in registration with said relief structure pattern, then dried, laminated with a second substrate (23), cured, and separated, such that a transfer pattern printed layer (22) having a structure that is the inverse of the relief structure pattern is formed on the second substrate (23). |
