<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves starting an internal combustion engine (2) such that a clutch (4) is closed when an electric motor (3) is driven. The clutch is closed and opened in a controlled manner for starting the engine such that the clutch is brought to a slip by partial closing of the clutch for starting the engine, when the motor is coupled at an output in a torque-proof manner and/or without traction power interruption.
