PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an organic light emitting display apparatus is provided to prevent the degradation of elements by additionally including a planarizing film in order to block out-gas due to a color filter layer. CONSTITUTION: A over-coating layer(156) is patterned to expose a first planarizing film on a thin film transistor(182) and a pad(186) through a first etching process. The first planarizing film is eliminated to expose the drain electrode(126) of the thin film transistor and the pad electrode of the pad through a second etching process. An organic electroluminescent light emitting element in electric connection with the exposed drain electrode is formed on a element board(110) of an active region.
