AUTOMATIC ANALYZER, AND METHOD OF EXCHANGING LIGHT SOURCE LAMP IN THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer reducing costs of components (light source lamps) and a load of the amount of work other than routine business of an operator and allowing the operator to devote himself/herself to inspection business by providing the operator with an appropriate exchange timing of the light source lamps. SOLUTION: The automatic analyzer including an absorbance measurement unit for measuring absorbance of a reactant compares a change with time of absorbance of a standard light source lamp based on a decrease in the quantity of light at a lapse of time of use with change with time in absorbance of a light source lamp used by the absorbance measurement unit to calculate an exchange timing of the light source lamp.
