<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which attains high efficiency with low input by reducing a ventilation resistance in a flow passage of an electric air blower. <P>SOLUTION: An electric air blower 6 of the vacuum cleaner includes: an electric motor 9; a centrifugal impeller 11 rotated by the electric motor and having a suction port 17; a plurality of stationary blades 12 in the centrifugal impeller side provided between the electric motor and the centrifugal impeller; a return stationary blade 13 having a front edge integrally formed with a rear edge of the stationary blade on the opposite side of the centrifugal impeller; a main plate 14 joining the stationary blade and the return stationary blade; and a fan-guide 16 having a bellmouth 19 on the upper surface thereof which forms a part of the suction port of the centrifugal impeller. The bellmouth has a plurality of inlet guide vanes 18 arranged so as to drive obliquely between the inside and outside in the radial direction to the upper surface. Each inlet guide vane has a lower end which contacts with the upper surface of the bellmouth as a base point and the upper end thereof inclines toward the outside in the radial direction of the centrifugal impeller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
