PURPOSE: A fan filter unit for a clean room is provided to prevent generation of vortex or disturbance of air current in the clean room to thereby maintain high degree of cleanness. CONSTITUTION: A fan filter unit for a clean room comprises an air chamber, a filter housing(130), a ventilation fan assembly(140), and a filter assembly. The air chamber is communicated with an air conditioning pipe. An opening path(110a) on one side of the upper part of the air chamber is projected to the lateral direction. The lower part of the filter housing is opened. The ventilation fan assembly is mounted in the filter housing by means of a mounting bracket. The filter assembly is airtightly installed in the lower part of the filter housing corresponding to the lower part of the ventilation fan assembly. The opening path is formed according to a moving cover(170). The cross section of the flow cover has a hemispherical shape. The flow cover surrounds a first extended open type air flow port.
