PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar system capable of securely obtaining hot water having a predetermined temperature by a simple structure. SOLUTION: A solar heat water heater 10 including a latent thermal storage medium 18 and a gas water heater 32 are connected in series. As the latent thermal storage medium 18, a latent thermal storage medium having a phase-change temperature lower than hot water delivery temperature set by the gas water heater 32 is used. Even in a time zone in summer with strong sun etc., a temperature of the latent thermal storage medium 18, that is, the maximum temperature of hot water discharged from the solar heat water heater 10 becomes a temperature lower than the hot water delivery temperature set by the gas water heater 32 (a temperature permitting normal operation of the gas water heater 32). Thus, the gas water heater 32 is operated successfully, and hot water having a temperature set by a hot water delivery temperature setting function can be securely delivered.
