PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor usefully using a thermoelectric element and switching a supply source of driving power to be supplied to a cooling means between a power source and the thermoelectric element. SOLUTION: The information processor is equipped with: the thermoelectric element 101 which absorbs heat generated from a CPU 11 when a current is supplied, and generates power by executing thermoelectric conversion using the heat generated from the CPU when the current is not supplied; a DC-DC converter 202 which generates a first driving power for driving an air cooling fan 104 for cooling the CPU from the power generated by the thermoelectric element; and the power source 21 which generates a second driving power for driving the air cooling fan using the power supplied from a supply source which is either a battery 21B or an AC/DC adapter 21A. An EC/KBC 20 discriminates the supply source of the power to the power source 21, and switches the first mode of driving the air cooling fan by the first driving power and the second mode of driving the air cooling fan by the second driving power on the basis of a discriminated result.
