A method for producing a brochure comprising an outer cover and a folded insert has the cover (4) and the insert sheet (5) loaded onto different feeds in different planes. The cover is passed under an adhesive spray (13) to provide a strip of adhesive which will form the inner spine. The sheet and cover are moved into position from opposite directions for a simple loading system for each. The aligned sheet and cover are pressed at right angles by a folding drive (6) and the folded, assembled brochure is passed through two pressure rollers (14, 15) to complete the process. |
