The generator (6) has a unit to generate nitrogen from compressed air, and a high pressure compressor (17), compressing the nitrogen at pressure at range of larger 10 bar to 400 bar. A storage unit e.g. collection tank (7) and cylinder bundle (18), stores the compressed nitrogen. A nitrogen discharging or deflecting unit e.g. safety valve (10), is arranged upstream to the storage unit to discharge or deflect the compressed nitrogen and prevents that the compressed nitrogen is guided towards the storage unit for a determined free preselectable or regulated time period. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing condensed clear, highly pure or ultra-pure nitrogen.
