PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment which prevents dust from entering inside a cabinet without reduction of the flow rate of air passing through an intake fan. SOLUTION: A cooling device 18 of electronic equipment 2 includes an intake fan 22 for sending cooling outside air into the inside of a cabinet 4, and a hood cover 24 provided so as to surround the windward side of the intake fan 22. The hood cover 24 has an intake opening 38, and a swirl flow flowing from the intake opening 38 to the intake fan 22 by the rotation of the intake fan 22 is formed in the hood cover 24. When the cooling outside air is introduced into the hood cover 24 through the intake opening 38, the dust included in the cooling outside air is centrifugally separated outwardly in radial direction by the swirl flow formed by the rotation of the intake fan 22.
