When an operation screen is being displayed based upon content for displaying the operation screen acquired from a web server, it is determined whether the content includes a description instructing that form data is transmitted to the web server. If it is determined that the content includes the description, then the form data in the content is transmitted to the web server in response to pressing of a start key which is a hard key that is for instructing the start of image processing.
