PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a sulphide solid electrolyte materia capable of obtaining a sulphide solid electrolyte material having a Li4P2S6crystal phase and moreover superior in Li ion conductivity.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the sulphide solid electrolyte materia comprises a preparing process for preparing a raw material composition, having a composition capable of forming a Li4P2S6crystal phase, and a compounding process for performing a mechanical milling method or a melting-rapid cooling method on the raw material composition and compounding the sulphide solid electrolyte material having Li4P2S6.
