The invention relates to drives for bicycles/bicycle cars with reciprocating foot levers. The drive comprises levers (2), which are mounted on a frame (1) and are provided with pedals (3), a shaft (4) with two freewheels (5) that have driving sprockets (6) mounted thereon, each of which is enclosed by a flexible rod (7) having one end attached to a lever (2) with a pedal (3) and the other end attached to a return spring (8). The frame (1) has buffers mounted thereon for interaction with the levers (2). The rod (14) of the buffer is spring-mounted on a coiled resilient member inside the buffer housing (10, 11). An additional buffer with a rubber resilient member is mounted on the rod (14).
