SECURITY PRINT APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A security printing device and a method thereof are provided to prevent indiscriminate leakage of a document through printing by certifying a user of a printing request terminal according to user registration information, proceeding the printing of a file, and storing the print record and content through scanning of a printout of the file. CONSTITUTION: A network interface unit(254) receives a printing request from a terminal. A registration information storage unit(258) stores user registration information which a print job is allowed. A printing unit(252) prints and outputs a file which printing is requested. A scanning unit(250) scans the printed printout of the file. A memory unit(260) stores a scanning file which scans the printout. A print controller(256) certifies a user by comparing the user registration information of the terminal with the allowed user registration information. The print controller proceeds printing and stores the scanning file in the memory unit.
