THERAPEUTIC REGIMEN FOR BAFF ANTAGONIST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new therapeutic strategy for treatment of immunologic and related disorders.

SOLUTION: A therapeutic regimen for administering a BAFF antagonist for the treatment of the immunologic and related disorders is described. The regimen includes a short-term BAFF antagonist administration unit prior to a series of administration and a following long-time no-treatment term. Effective treatment of the immunologic disorder is achieved by performing a short-term administration of a therapeutically effective dose of the BAFF antagonist and then by temporally stopping the administration of the agonist for a long term prior the round of administration.
