<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely suppress the occurrence of crosstalk when a display such as a liquid crystal display having a relatively-low response speed is used. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device includes: a right/left video signal control section 120 which receives inputs of a right-eye image signal and a left-eye image signal and converts these signals into signals for alternately displaying a right-eye image and a left-eye image; a liquid crystal display panel 134 to which the right-eye image signal and the left-eye image signal converted in the right/left video signal control section 120 are inputted, and the right-eye image and the left-eye image are alternately displayed; a back light 136 with which the liquid crystal display panel 134 is irradiated from the back; and a back light control section 128 for emitting the back light 136 according to the switching of the right-eye image and the left-eye image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
