摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle, which suppresses the excess raising of a catalyst bed temperature caused by blipping control executed during deceleration fuel cut. <P>SOLUTION: The control device for the vehicle includes a stepped-automatic transmission 40 to which a driving force is transmitted from an internal combustion engine 10, a mechanical lockup mechanism 45 for automatically connecting and disconnecting an output shaft 11 and an input shaft 43 in a shift operation of the automatic transmission 40, and an exhaust emission control catalyst 32 provided on an exhaust passage 31. When downshifting of the automatic transmission 40 is executed during deceleration fuel cut, blipping control for temporarily restarting fuel injection and increasing an engine speed NE is executed. The device further includes a monitoring means for monitoring the catalyst bed temperatureθof the exhaust emission control catalyst 32, and a suppression means for executing suppression processing for suppressing the rise of the catalyst bed temperatureθso that the monitored catalyst bed temperatureθis prevented from increasing to the temperature deteriorating the exhaust emission control function of the exhaust emission control catalyst 32 in execution of blipping control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
