<p>The sensor has a transparent window arranged in a wall of a pipe line, and a light source (1) i.e. LED, for generating dimensioned excitation light beam (5). A detector (2) receives electromagnetic radiation from luminescent and/or light-scattering particles by the window. A measuring cell perpendicularly orients the dimensioned excitation light beam and light from each other, where the light is emitted from the luminescent and/or light-scattering particles that are linearly moved at a fixed angle to an excitation light within a measured volume parallel to a fluid flow. An independent claim is also included for a method for detecting luminescent and/or light scattering particles in flowing liquids.</p> |
