The device has a clamping frame made of two half-shells (1, 2), and partial chambers provided as guides for contact elements (12). A pressure piece (14) is assigned with each chamber. The piece is movably mounted on one of the shells in a radial guide groove (15). A tensioning element (16) contacting the piece is arranged at the shells. The piece and the contact elements are moved radially inward by tightening the tensioning element in such a manner that the contact elements are electrical conductively connected with the main conductors (4-7) and a branch conductor (13).
