PURPOSE: Device and method for adjusting the installation position of a camera for a black box are provided to enable a camera to be installed at a correct position by giving feedback on alignment to a user and to take images at a correct viewing angle by informing the user if the camera gets out of the correct position. CONSTITUTION: A device for adjusting the installation position of a camera for a black box comprises a camera, a black box, a calibration bar and a vision processing unit. When being installed on the first position of a moving body at a first angle, the camera takes images at a normal viewing angle. The black box stores images obtained from the camera. The calibration bar is attached/detached to/from the second position of the moving body. The vision processing unit finds a reference pixel(200) corresponding to the calibration bar. If the reference pixel is located in a reference range in a reference image, the vision processing unit recognizes the viewing angle of the camera as normal. If the reference pixel gets out of the reference range, the vision processing unit recognizes the viewing angle of the camera as abnormal. |
