PURPOSE: A ubiquitous based system and method for managing a greenhouse are provided to manage the environment of the greenhouse regardless of the place and the time. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit(110) measures a growing state of plants and environment around a green house. A gateway(12) collects the measuring information of the sensor unit. A control unit(15) controls the greenhouse. A database(31) stores setting values for automatically controlling growth history information and disease and insects monitoring information. A display unit(32) indicates the control state of the greenhouse and the measuring information. A control signal generator(33) generates the control signal through the measuring information.
