<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive controller for a vehicle capable of enhancing 4WD performance in combination with a generater and an alternating current motor. <P>SOLUTION: Electric power Pg to be output from the generator 7 is computed based on a motor torque command value Tt, and a magnetic field current Ifg of the generator 7 is controlled to follow a generation current command value Idc* for outputting the electric power Pg by an actual generation current command value Idc.
