PURPOSE: An E-mail address based internet telephone method and a system thereof are provided to enable a user to generate a call with only e-mail address of an opponent. CONSTITUTION: If a receiver is registered in an Internet telephone program, an originator determines whether the receiver is in on-line state or in off-line state(S3). If the receiver is in on-line state, the Internet telephone system offers the caller information to the receiver terminal. The originator performs communication with the receiver(S4). If the receiver is in off-line state, the internet telephone system makes the receiver in the on-line state(S3-1,S3-2). |
