<p>PURPOSE: An LED illumination device driven by a pulse width modulation method is provided to minimize power consumption and heat. CONSTITUTION: An LED illumination device is composed of an LED driving circuit unit and an LED array unit. The LED driving circuit unit receives external power and supplies a constant current to an LED array unit. The LED array unit has an array structure in which a plurality of LEDs is connected in series. An EMI filter(120) is made of a circuit which shields an electromagnetic wave. A pulse width modulation controller controls the driving brightness of an LED by controlling the amount of inputting constant currents supplied to the LED array unit by pulse width modulation control.</p> |
