PURPOSE: A video conference system and method thereof are provided to perform test call with a server connected to the video conference system after completing an initial setting of a video conference terminal. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(110) receives result information according to a test call transmitted from a server. The result information includes first image codex setup information, first call standard setup information, first network setup information, and the first security setup information. A controller(140) resets prestored managed information based on result information according to the received test call. The management information includes at least one among video codex setup information, call standard setup information, network setup information, and security setup information.
