<p>Constants of the two springs (21, 22) are the same, and the springs are joined together at one end by a mounting block and by a block at the other end. Force to be measured is applied in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the springs. The springs form, under this force pressure, an S shape. At least one further measurement spring (23, 24) is provided between the two springs (21, 22) carrying the strain gauges (26-29). It is mechanically parallel to the outer springs. The measurement springs are symmetrical to the longitudinal centre plane (11) perpendicular to the force direction of application.</p> |
