PURPOSE: A method for producing R-Fe-B type anisotropic metal powder with improved magnetic properties and R-Fe-B type anisotropic metal powder produced thereby are provided to separately performing a hydrogen emission process and a recombination process. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing R-Fe-B type anisotropic metal powder with improved magnetic properties is as follows. An alloy ingot is produced using R-Fe-TM-B through a mold casting method or a strip casting method and is homogenized. The homogenized alloy ingot is put into a tube furnace, and the tube furnace is filled with hydrogen. The homogenized alloy ingot in the tube furnace filled with hydrogen is heated with 200~350°C. The temperature is increased to 700~900°C and is kept for 5 to 360 minutes.
