APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR BROWSING MEDIA THROUGH HOME NETWORK

PURPOSE: A multimedia browsing device and method thereof through a home network are provided to rapidly browse a multimedia stored in a media server. CONSTITUTION: A memory unit(22) stores a database about a media. A unit input unit(23) receives an user input for browsing the media from a user. A display unit(24) displays a predetermined media list. A control unit(25) establishes the database about the media by using the received meta data. The control unit distinguishes the predetermined media in response to a user input from the database. The control unit displays a list of the identified media.
