PURPOSE: An agent containing quinazoline derivatives for preventing and treating benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH) is provided to effectively suppress PDE5 with less side effects. CONSTITUTION: An agent for preventing and treating benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH) contains a compound of chemical formula 1 or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. The benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH) includes nocturia, urgent urine, urge incontinence, dysuria, delay urine, truncation urine, and intraabdominal pressure urination. The IC50 ratio of PDE 6(phosphodiesterase 6) and PDE 5 in the agent is 300-100 : 1.
