<p>A Physical Cell Id (PCI) allocation method and a base station, the method involves the steps of: a target base station obtains the usable PCI list sent by an Operations and Maintenance (OAM), and removes the limited PCI of the target cell from the usable PCI list to obtain a selectable PCI set (S102);the target base station obtains the E-UTRA absolute radio frequency channel number information of the adjacent cell of the service cell via an X2 interface, and obtains the first reference PCI set by a predetermined way, the cell E-UTRA absolute radio frequency channel number information of first reference PCI set is different from the E-UTRA absolute radio frequency channel number information of the target cell of the target base station (S104); the target base station makes the intersection of the usable PCI list and the first reference PCI set form a second reference PCI set (S106); if the selectable PCI set is empty, then a PCI is selected by random from the second reference PCI set as the target PCI (S108). The successful rate of the target PCI allocation is improved by the present invention.</p> |
