METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR MEASURING ASYMMETRIC TIME DELAY OF COMMUNICATION PATHS

A method, device and system for measuring an asymmetric time delay of communication paths are disclosed by the present invention. The method includes that: a first node transmits a first time delay measurement message to a second node whose local clock is synchronized with the local clock of the first node; the first node receives a second time delay measurement message, which is transmitted by the second node after the second node receives the first time delay measurement message; the time delay of the communication path towards the direction of the second node is calculated according to the time of transmitting the first time delay measurement message and the time the second node receives the first time delay measurement message; the time delay of the communication path going back from the direction of the second node is calculated according to the time the second node transmits the second time delay measurement message and the time of receiving the second time delay measurement message; the measurement value of the asymmetric time delay of the communication paths is obtained according to the time delays of the communication paths in two directions. With the technical scheme of the present invention, the measurement of the asymmetric time delay of the communication paths is simplified due to using the time delay measurement messages in the measurement.
