A communication interface apparatus for a system and a plurality of users is provided. The communication interface apparatus determines whether voice information is a registered user's voice information, whether an utterance is made by a registered user while paying attention to a system, and whether the voice information of the registered user is meaningful to the system, and transmits or blocks the voice information of the user according to the determination result. Thus, interfacing is allowed only when a registered user makes a meaningful and significant utterance while paying attention to a system.
