<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent HRV change detecting method for health decision and an HRV change detector for health decision which encourage a subject to promptly take a comprehensive physical examination or an examination of a specific disease so as to achieve an early discovery of a disease or confirmation of the validity of a treatment by detecting whether or not any changes are found in HRV values and by easily and appropriately making the subject recognize whether or not there is an abnormality in or recovery of health or a need to take a medical examination. <P>SOLUTION: In heart rate variability (HRV) analysis, a balance condition between the sympathetic nerve and the parasympathetic nerve is examined by frequency analysis of minute variations of heartbeat interval. The HRV change detecting method for health decision detects that a sympathetic/parasympathetic balance degree (HRV value) is changed compared to an HRV value of the subject measured in the past and used as a reference under the same examination condition of measurement time zone and body environment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
