<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Ag alloy thermal diffusion control film used in a magnetic medium for thermally assisted recording, which maintains a high heat conductivity and has all of a high thermal diffusivity, a smooth surface roughness and a high heat resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal diffusion control film used in the magnetic medium for thermally assisted recording is composed of an Ag alloy having Ag as a main component, and satisfies a surface roughness Ra of≤1.0 nm, a heat conductivity of≥100 W/(m*K), and a thermal diffusivity of≥4.0×10<SP>-5</SP>m<SP>2</SP>/sec. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
