PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image content so that the correspondence between image content obtained as a result of searching and keywords used for retrieval of the image content is clarified. SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes: a structural analysis unit which analyzes display control data containing a plurality of structural units wherein information regarding display control is described and extracts the structural unit contained in the display control data; a layout setting unit which sets up layout information, when the display control data is displayed on the display screen, based on the structural unit extracted by the structural analysis section; a keyword extraction unit which extracts the keyword from the display content corresponding to the structural unit; and a content search unit which searches the image content corresponding to the keyword extracted by the keyword extraction section. The layout-setting unit arranges the image content searched by the content retrieval unit, in the display area where the structural unit containing the keyword corresponding to the image content is displayed.
