<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-level power conversion device with an initial charging circuit which is compact at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The initial charging circuit 8 is composed of a switch 81 and an insulated transformer 82, the switch 81 is connected to a secondary winding of the insulated transformer 82, one terminal out of three terminals of the switch 81 is connected between a switching element 31b and a switching element 31c of an R-phase unit, another terminal out of the three terminals of the switch 81 is connected between a switching element 31f and a switching element 31g of an S-phase unit, and the remaining one terminal out of the three terminals of the switch 81 is connected to a neutral point which is a connecting point M of a capacitor 41 and a capacitor 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
