PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology effective for detecting a plurality of different loading states regarding existence and size of force applied to a tip tool in a hand-held tool. SOLUTION: In the hand-held tool 101 for performing predetermined machining work while pressing the tip tool 119 provided at a distal end area of a tool body 103 to a workpiece, the plurality of different loading states regarding the existence and size of the load applied to the tip tool 119 is detected by a plurality of different kinds of detection means 161. The hand-held tool 101 includes at least one of an informing means 171 for informing the loading state based on the detection result by the plurality of detection means 161 and a drive control device 135 for performing drive control of the tip tool 119 based on the detection result.
