PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling unit in which the flow out of a heat transfer member is prevented to prevent deterioration in the cooling effect of a die. SOLUTION: The cooling unit 1 includes: a cylindrical cooling bush 10 whose tip fitted to a cooling hole 6 formed at a die casting die 5 is clogged; a cooling pipe 20 having a fitting part 22 fitted to the inside face of the cooling bush 10 attachably/detachably and flowing a cooling liquid into the cooling bush 10; an O-ring 15 mounted to the external surface of the cooling bush 10 and closing a gap between the cooling bush 10 and the cooling hole 6; and an O-ring 17 movably mounted to the inner part in the radial direction of the cooling bush 10 in the tip side than the O-ring 15 and closing a gap between the inside face of the cooling bush 10 and the fitting part 22 when the cooling pipe 20 is inserted into the cooling bush 10.
