Method for comparing network data, particularly roaming data and/or routing data, between at least two databases (3, 4), wherein a first database (3) is connected to a first data processing system (2) and the first data processing system (2) is associated with a first communication network (1). A second database (4) is connected to a second data processing system (5) and the second data processing system (5) is associated with a second communication network (6). The first and the second data processing system (2, 5) are connected by a communication connection (7, 8, 9). In the first database (3), network data located in data records are stored and are provided for comparison to the second database (4). A log book is kept on the first data processing system (2), in which changes relating to the content of the first database (3) are entered, wherein depending on a log book entry, a transmission of data relating to the change of at least one data record from the first data processing system (2) to the second data processing system (5) is carried out and the transmitted data are stored in the second database (4).
