SHAFT STRUCTURE FOR POWER TRANSMISSION, INTERMEDIATE SHAFT, AND OUTSIDE JOINT MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft structure for power transmission, an intermediate shaft and an outside joint member, which allow easy and stable manufacturing of the shaft structure for power transmission (an intermediate shaft, an outside joint member) having a hollow structure at low costs.

SOLUTION: The shaft structure for power transmission includes a cylindrical shaft member 30 and a solid or hollow shaft member 31 press-fitted into the cylindrical shaft member 30. Projections 35 axially extending are provided on any one of the inner diameter face of the cylindrical shaft member 30 and the shaft member 31. The projections 35 are press-fitted in the axial direction to bite into the counterpart member and unify the cylindrical shaft member 30 with the shaft member 31.
