PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that can suppress eccentric wear of shoulder parts by equalizing a grounding pressure on the shoulder parts. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, a plurality of main grooves 4 extending in a circumferential direction of the tire are provided in a tread surface 1, and the shoulder part on one side in a tire width direction has a volume larger than that on the other side. A recessed portion 11 extending to a shoulder edge E1 and a concave portion 12 adjacent to the recessed portion 11 in a radially inward direction of the tire are provided in a buttress area of the shoulder part S1 which has the larger volume. A projecting portion 21 extending to a shoulder edge E2 and a projecting portion 22 adjacent to the projecting portion 21 in the radially inward direction of the tire are provided in a buttress area of the shoulder part S2 which has the smaller volume.
