PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector that maintains accuracy of detecting pressurization to a hollow tube. SOLUTION: A microphone 52 and a speaker 53 for collecting sound transmitted through a tube 51 are disposed at an opening of one end of the tube 51, and connected to a controller 54. A first failure determining unit 61 determines that a failure occurs when an abnormal sound is input to the microphone 52. A confirmation sound output control unit 62 outputs a confirmation sound from the speaker 53 when no abnormal sound is input to the microphone 52. When a reflection sound of the confirmation sound is input to the microphone 52, a second failure determining unit 64 determines a failure of the tube 51 according to comparison between the confirmation sound and the reflection sound.
