<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a resting tool and a housing/transportation bag for a pet easily and safely housing and transporting the pet, and reducing the risk of medical examination and diagnosis and treatment in an animal hospital without giving cautiousness to the pet refusing to enter a carry bag and a case. <P>SOLUTION: The resting tool and housing/transportation bag for the pet are provided with a bottom lower part having a structure 1 of a bag made of cloth; the upper part having a structure 2 of a net material; an opening having a structure 3 of a purse; strings 4; fasteners 5; and handles 6. The pet is stabilized with the structure 1 of the bag made of the cloth in the bottom lower part to prevent raging with the net material 2 in the upper part. Furthermore, preventive vaccination or the simple medical examination and diagnosis and treatment can be carried out from above the net 2 in the upper part in the animal hospital. The housing of the pet and simultaneous quick closing of the opening can be performed by the structure 3 of the purse. There is no fear about loosening of the opening with the fasteners 5. The handles 6 can be provided to thereby transport and take in and out the pet from the carry bag and case by anyone. The upper part 2 can usually be utilized as a folded resting tool, and the resting tool and all can be housed during the housing.
