IMAGE FORMING DEVICE, PAPER CARRYING DEVICE, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve paper carrying performance by stabilizing delivery of paper from a paper storage container.

SOLUTION: This image forming device includes: a resist roll 55 for carrying out paper to a transfer position of a toner image so as to meet carrying to the transfer position by an intermediate transfer belt; a feed roll 52 for delivering paper from a paper storage container 50 toward the resist roll 55; and a paper detection sensor 80 which is disposed in a paper carrying path between the resist roll 55 and the feed roll 52 and detects a passage timing of a paper end delivered from the feed roll 52. The main control part 30 controls paper delivery by the feed roll 52 according to both of a lapse time from the time when the feed roll 52 starts paper delivery from the paper storage container 50 and the passage timing of the paper end detected by the paper detection sensor 80.
